Magee Gammon was formed in Ashford in 1992. From a modest base of four team members the firm quickly established a reputation for quality service and advice.
By 1998 the team had expanded to 12 people, including two Senior Managers, Antony Tutt and Mark Britland, who were both made Partners in 1998. The promotion of Antony and Mark lead to a significant growth spurt, with many new clients from a diverse range of businesses transferring their affairs into the care of the firm.
With the retirement of a founding Partner in 2001, the firm restructured into two separate legal entities - Magee Gammon Corporate Limited and Magee Gammon Partnership LLP, and was one of the first accountancy practices in the UK to become a limited liability partnership.
In 2008 Magee Gammon moved to newly converted bespoke offices in Henwood, Ashford. With the continual expansion of the firm Abhi Jain and Roland Parry were promoted to partnership in 2010.
In 2013 Andy Childs and his team joined Magee Gammon after the acquisition of the Ashford branch of Larkings Chartered Accountants.
The firm has continued to grow over the years to its present size of six partner/directors and some 30 support staff.
