Magee Gammon have worked with Clive Emson and his team for many years so were delighted to attend the Kent property auction for the first time yesterday.
The team were kept busy throughout the course of the auction by guests wishing to talk to our property experts. Their concerns ranged from the new additional 3% Stamp Duty charge on purchases of additional residential property above £40,000, such as on buy-to-let properties and second homes, to advice on how to pass property to their children in the future in the most tax efficient manner.
Antony Tutt commented “As property specialist accountants attending the auction has been a great opportunity to hear first-hand the concerns that property investors currently have. We are looking forward following up with them after the auction to see how we can help them further.”
The team will be at the next Kent property auction on Thursday 17th March.
